
When I use the "Find Processes, Services, and Performance Counters" link from the APM Settings page to create a new Performance Monitor template, I get an "Access is Denied" pop-up error when it attempts to list the available counters on the target server.
To verify permissions I ran PerfMon from my local machine using the same credentials that SolarWinds uses, and connecting remotely through PerfMon to the same server I'm trying to reach through the SolarWinds, and everything works fine. I also verified that there are no limitations on my account in the SolarWinds "Manage Users" screen.
Has anybody else run into this? I'll open a case with support if needed, but I wanted to post it here first. Thanks guys.
