Where do I change the electrical rates that are used to perform these calculations?
The second line of the SQL query needs to be updated using the Report Writer. The default value is $0.12 per kilowatt hour. Adjust this value as necessary.
SET @kWhEnergyCost= 0.12;
Thanks. Seems like this should be a box on the Orion SAM Setting Page that you can enter. Sure is cheaper in Seattle. Only 0.0588 kWh.
Average rates per-kWh in the US tend to range anywhere from $0.10 - $0.15. Below are two example cited references. I've never seen electrical costs as low as $0.05 per-kilowatt hour. The lowest I've personally seen in $0.08.

I think once demand peak rates are figured in you are correct. One of the rates is 5.88c kWh, but peak is $1.26!

Hard to tell what gets charged when. I know we have 850kW of generator capacity but not sure what our nominal load on the grid is. Need to hunt down some invoices I guess.
