Why can't I read the data on specific nodes/interface when they are monitored as UP?
Hi rrperez,
Are they all snmp devices? it could be that some are only defined as icmp only devices...
What sort of data are you missing?? Are the devices the same? ie two switches that are exactly the same, one collect's data the other doesnt?
Thanks for the response matt,
Yes they are all snmp devices, most likely servers. I can't view the data from the CPU Load and Memory Use and also the eth0, lo and other interfaces are in the unknown status or in a question mark logo.
Another thing is that, even though the said devices are monitored UP and responding to ping, sometimes alerts says they are down.
Can you provide some screen shots?? Do you have an engineers toolset or some other snmp tool you try and access this info from?
Server Details
Server Data
That looks like SNMP is no longer working on the device. Can you try accessing the device using another SNMP tool? (Engineers toolset for example)
SNMP works fine on the servers, and I can access the servers SNMP through MIB walk.
