Report indicating what is in unmanaged status

Orion 8.5 with hotfix

I would like a report indicating what is going to be unmanaged, time to be unmanaged, and time to become managed again.

For example, when we schedual a node to become unmanaged on Monday, we want to be able to go back on Thursday to ensure that it has been unmanaged along with when it will become managed again.

What tables are these in?

We opened a feature request after being on the phone with support because they stated it wasn't possible.

Case # (unknown at present time.) will update when we get it.

D. Purdue - can you give me a ETA on this feature release? , 8.5.1?????????

Jluke,

The times that a device is scheduled to be unmanaged and managed are stored in the Nodes table as "UnManageFrom" and "UnManageUntil". You should be able to easily create a custom SQL report in Report Writer to show when a device is/was "scheduled" to be unmanaged/managed, but remember that this is only good until you configure a new outage window, at which point the times are overwritten with the new ones.

Now, if you want to have a report that verifies (after the fact) that the event took place, you should be able to easily create a custom SQL report in Report Writer to extract the events from the NetPerfMon event log. Naturally, the length of time you will be able to "look back" will depend on how long you keep the events in the event log.

Oh, and if you want to run a report while the device is unmanaged, then a report with a combination of the two reports above should work as well.

I can generate the SQL required for the reports if you'd like.

That worked. I appreciate your help.

There is a unmanaged status in the nodes table as well so the Events table does not have to be queried.
