*sigh* IE7/Report Scheduler Woes

I found that while my login problem appears to be fixed, the Report Scheduler is now broken.  The Solarwinds internal browser appears to have the same problem and I'm unable to fix it.  Here's the log from the Job:11/22/2006 11:50:26 AM	Error processing Job "Problem Nodes"
		Error downloading web page from 192.168.1.8/.../Report.asp
		Access is denied.

Does anyone have Report Scheduler working with Windows 2003/IE7?

I just figured this out and now my issue is resolved.  It was so easy and right in front of my eyes.  The account that's being used for running the scheduled task also needs to have the IE setting changed on it.  I had to log onto the server as the user, then update IE's "Integrated Windows Authentication" setting and logged out.  Now my jobs run unhindered.

Now if I can get them to stop sending out .PNG files rather than the page itself.

Hi NG,
At the risk of sounding snarky, I was the one who posted that post!  My IE problems are solved, and I use FFX on the server itself now.  The real problem is that the Report Scheduler isn't running any of the scheduled tasks.  Actually, the tasks *are* running, but the error I posted above is what is being reported in the Scheduled Task logfile.  I've narrowed it down to a permissions issue, as I can run all the jobs as Administrator.  I've tried putting the account that's running the scheduled tasks into the Administrators group, but that doesn't seem to work, either.  I've also added the account to have 'Log on as a service' and 'Log on as a batch job' configured as explicit permissions in the Local Security Policy.

Still no love for me.

EDIT:  It appears that the issue has something to do with either the way that the 'RunOrionJob.exe' program is passing authentication, the authentication method it's using, or permissions on what that application can do.  It definitely has something to do with "Integrated Windows Authentication", since I was seeing the same exact problem using IE7 with that option enabled (as per my post referenced above).  Unfortunately, one of the most used features of Orion isn't supported very well by Solarwinds, so I fear that trying to get information about this will lead me right into a brick wall.

Personally I've given up on IE & use Firefox whenever I can.
