Can't get Atlas to work with ProCurve switches

Question

Hey all, I'm working on a map for the switch to switch connection in my network and I'm not having much luck. The switches are all entered in NPM, NPM has created the Network Topology connections and everything is green. I've dropped down to trying to connect just two nodes, both of which can see each other in NPM, and I still get the following error:

ConnectNow draws direct connections between managed nodes. At least one of the items you have selected to connect is not a managed node. Select the nodes you want to connect.

I did a search here on "not a managed node" but I came up blank. I went through the diagnostic steps ( knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/.../Technical troubleshooting for common ConnectNow issues - Part 3 )and didn't find anything wrong. Does anyone out there know of any additional, undocumented steps that need to be taken to get ProCurve switches to work in Network Atlas?

Never mind. I was trying to use the interfaces on the switches to create the connections instead of the switches themselves. I used the switches, the connections were created, and all is well.
