We just implemented active directory on SolarWinds Orion and the question came up of how do we login should SolarWinds not be able to authenticate with the Domain Controller. I've already setup local accounts for all Orion Administrators for this contingency, however, user wise, I'm looking at just making an Orion account available for all users to use until the problem is resolved and connectivity is restored. This account would remain disabled until needed and the password changed each time it is used.
Is anyone else doing anything different? What's worked for you? Thanks for the feedback.
