Script or powershell for monitorering windowsservice

Hi.

New to this forum, so i just try to describe if anyone has a script or can help in this matter.

I monitor some services on a windows server.

I want to trigger alerts whenever physical Memory Threshold on the specific service is above 600MB (warning) and critical when above 900MB.

Right now, in the standard Windows Service Monitor, i can only set these values with % usage - i need to be more specific.

Can anyone help in this matter?

that's correct. However, I believe the requirement is to trigger an alert, so it's possible to use the virtual or physical memory values to trigger alerts, rather than the warning/critical values.

Hi Thomas,

if you use the Process Explorer, you can just add in the service's process to a new or existing templated, that will give you the physical memory

Hi.

This is true, but when i browse the "Edit Application" and i want to create a warning and critical threshold - the only option i have is to set it in % - not the actual value - and thats want i am looking for.
