Want to alert on BGP Peer status change

I need to alert on a change in the BGP peer status. The custom poller I use is a Raw data enumeration type. So,in the trigger, which field do I use? Total, Rate, Status, or Numeric Status? Do I use the "has changed" option as well?

I also want to include the curent value of the custom poller in the trigger message. What is the format for that?

The best alert for that I found was "Numeric Status is less than 6"  This will send an Alert if the BGP status is anything other than established.

For the message  you could do something like:

BGP Peer on ${NodeName} ${Node.IP_Address} is:
${CustomPollerStatus.RowID}
${CustomPollerStatus.Status}

That should get you started.
