SAM filters??

I'm about to pull my hair out. I've added a TOP XX By Statistic Data SAM resource to an Application Summary view/page, but WHY doesn't the following filter work???

application.name='Application1' AND Application.Name='Application2' AND Monitor.Name='Active Requests'

If I leave just ONE application.name, it works fine. I've also tried different variations, order, and comparisons (IE; OR instead of AND) I really need to show the same value for BOTH applications. What the heck am I missing??

I did try the OR operator, but I never would've tired using the parentheses. This works, thanks big time!

Expanding on this, anyone know how to filter on an Application custom property? "Application.CustomProperty.Customer" for example doesn't work either or stuff like Node.CustomProperty.City.

I believe it should be "Application.CustomProperties.<name>"
