thanks it was the doc I was looking for, I'sorry I didn't guess that by myself! I was expecialy interested at www.solarwinds.net/.../Regex.htm, i report it for interested forum readers. Can I ask you same other question? from the exaples I see that I can use ',' (coma) as a logic AND; is it right? what happen if I don't check "use regular expression in this rule" in the message section of the "edit syslog rule" window? it seem like I can set anyway a message pattern to check for! thanks
