Orion NPM SLX requirements - Updated version ?

Hi,

I'm looking into going for a new NPM SLX, and I was wondering if there is somewhere an updated version of the HW requirements.

My main concern is that recommended processor on the most recent document I could find is 2 x 3 GHz dual core. "Professional" dual core processors don't really exist anymore, the minimum found is usually 4 cores. Also, frequencies above 3 Ghz are not very common, thanks to optimization on lower frequencies.

Knowing that, what seems to be a reasonable processor for a NPM SLX is the Intel Xeon X5650 (6 cores, 2.66GHz, 12M cache). But then do I still need two ? Or can the 6 cores compensate the lack of a second processor ? Or maybe it is better to go for 2 cheaper ones ?

That 6 core processor will do the trick. We will examine the recomendations and update where necessary.
