Insight for Exchange - Event Log is always critical!

Hi all,

I know I can't be the only person with this issue. The inability to disable or adjust some components within Insight for Exchange is a real pain.

In my case, my Exchange servers often throw critical alerts to informational events, such as sending a NDR automated response to a public folder. This causes my application to go critical due to the Event Log component. It's critical so often that I can't really look at the indicator. How the heck can I fix this?

SAM 6.2 (currently in beta) allows the ability to control which events to include or exclude from monitoring.

The ability to exclude specific events from the Windows Event Log Monitor in AppInsight applications is a feature request we are tracking internally under FB342811.

Respectfully, the inability to keep the application from going critical should be more considered a bug, rather than a feature

Great, thanks for letting me know. I'll look forward to the RC release being available, since we can't deploy Beta to production.
