Hello all,
I have seen variations of this thread already asked but haven't been able to solve the problem we are having so I figured I would start a fresh discussion. We have a Cisco ASA 5505 that is holding a series of site-to-site tunnels for us. It would seem to me a natural thing for NPM to recognize those tunnels as interfaces and then monitor them accordingly. We would like to see their up/down status, utilization, etc. Unfortunately NPM will not.
I have tried creating a custom poller but I am forced to pick odd categories like CPU usage and then when I MIB browse down to the IKE tunnel categories I can grab the table that says there are X many tunnels and such but I can't get them to read as any usable data.w
I can't imagine asking Solarwinds to monitor tunnels is a difficult thing but it sure seems to be. Any ideas?
