Dynamic Event and Alert Objects

Question

I'm still getting oriented with these forums and how/where to find content. Please forgive me if this question is redundant!

Does anyone have examples of event and alert configurations that use variables to create a "one size fits all" object--or, realistically, a pair of event/alert objects that can handle numerous types of similar events by using variables? With extensive use of NPM, SAM, SRM, and VMAN, I'd love to be able to efficiently manage alert actions without creating one for every single type of unique event.

The variable syntax changes depending on the type of object you are alerting on.   You definitely can set up a model where you use a fairly universal alert template,  but have to make a variation for each alert object type.
