We do not own the Storage Module so I have mapped a few critical netapps to drives on our solarwinds server and want to know if anyone has been able to monitor these paths with either NPM or SAM?????
What is it that you're trying to accomplish? Are you simply trying to determine that these CIFS shares are accessible via UNC path? If that's the case, then you can accomplish this relatively easily using vbscript.
Thanks for your quick response. No, I want to alert if the amount of memory that each share that I have mapped to our Solarwinds server gets too low. The UNC path is pointing to a share on a netapps and we want to monitor the amount of free space.
