Adding MIB's in v7.2

I recently inherited a network that is monitored by an ORION v7.2 box. I'd like to transition the devices to the openview server that the rest of our devices use and I was wondering if anyone had information on how MIBS are managed in v7.2. The previous administrator says that orion will download and install necessary MIBS automatically. I was curious if there were any caveats to that.

hello keegan,
The previous admin was feeding you a line of monkey poop. Orion, previous to version 8, has no facilities for managing MIBs. You had a set of standard MIBs provided by SolarWinds and that was that.
SolarWinds toolset has a MIB download and import facility, but this is an entirely different product.
