Orion Email Alerts not working

After upgrading to NPM 10.4 and SAM 5.2, Advanced alerts are being triggered, but no emails are sending out like they should. If I look at active alerts in the advanced alert manager, they are there, but the email was never sent. What could be the problem?

How long is a piece of string? You could start with Checking to see that your smtp server is configured in your email alert, confirm you are using the correct credentials if authentication configured, and that you have configured IP address of your orion server as relay host on your SMTP server. Like I said, The problem started happening after the NPM and SAM upgrades. The email alerting was working fine prior to this change. I verified that all the alert settings remained intact after the upgrade(smtp server settings included). Running the test shows the emails are successful but they never arrive in my inbox. I've checked spam filters and junk mail. Checked both Outlook and OWA for the message.

Seems like you may need to log a support ticket for faster resolution. There isn't much i can do via the community if the test is reporting back successful email delivery. Before logging the ticket i would try and create a new alert and see if email alerting works on your new alert. That will at least prove that your existing alerts broke after the upgrade, or that 10.4 isnt email alerting for you. In saying that, I haven't seen any problems regarding email alerting with 10.4 Would you be able to try this and/or log a support ticket?

Thanks for your help. I will keep looking into this and may need to open a ticket as you suggested.
