Monitor PVST port state?

Question

We are trying to monitor PVST port state on Cisco switches (in particular ie3000/Stratix).  Can this be done with a custom MIB in solarwinds?  We have not found the right way to do this yet...  Looks like Ciscoworks Campus Manager can do it, but ugh..

Hi patches--

Can you do a MIB walk of your device to get the OID. If so, you can build a custom poller around it.

We are using OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.15.1.3

"RFC1286-MIB.dot1dSTPPortState"

This does return information (port ID and forwarding state), but only for VLAN 1, or so it seems.

Interestingly enough, I've been trying to fend off a Ciscoworks implementation.  Could you share how you are utilizing both Orion and Ciscoworks?
