what do you think is happening in the wee hours of the night with events like this?

Port 3/1 10/100 utp ethernet (cat 3/5) User defined Transmit Bandwidth changed from 10000000 to 100000000 bps  Interface Changed

these type of events go on during overnight hours and i'm sure no one is at the machine. (95% sure anyway) and it happens mostly on USER ports/systems.

what would you think causes these 'Interface Changed' events - a port issue or NIC issue or OS issue or something else - bug in Orion maybe...

i appreciate your thoughts on this.

Could be the machines going to "power save" mode causing the port to return to default speed.
