Service Control Manager

I am new on here and I am setting up a test environment for SAM. While testing some of the different features highlighted the guided tour I cam across Service Control Manager. I have several types of nodes in my environment including

Windows/WMI Windows/SNMP Cisco UCS/SNMP and under neither of my window types do I have that option. I'm on SAM 6.1. What am I missing?

Are you logging into the Orion web console using a different account than "Admin"? By default, only "Admin" has access to the Service Control Manager. For other accounts you must specify the permission explicitly in that users account settings.

This should appear on the Node Details view under the Management Resource.

It is also available on the Application Details view in the Application Details resource

I quick question pertaining to login. I tried to setup our rights via our AD group but I wouldn't let me login until I created an individual account. Any thoughts?
