Restart Service Alert

I'm looking to be notified when SAM restarts a service using the APMServiceControl.exe. Can someone help me with this?

So far the only thing I've seem to accomplish is to alert whenever a service starts. I only want to know when SAM had to start it.

Have you tried using the out-of-the-box "Restart a service" alert and adding an additional trigger action to notify you via email?

I did, but it seems to send out the alerts when the server reboots. Plus when SAM restarts the app. There are a few things I read today that will try and post my results.
