I am having an issue that is actually growing into a larger problem for me now with Advanced alerts that remain in the system for hosts that have been deleted from the system. At first it was a couple hosts, but now I have more and it is getting rediculous that I have to sift through these false alerts.
A previous post I place was responded with somewhat criptic instructions on editing the database. Although I did successfully delete the alert (eventually), it returned within 24 hours.
In addition to alerts that remain after a host is deleted, I also have Advanced alerts for hosts where the custom MIB poller for that alert has been removed from the host, but the alert remains.
I need a way to clean these alerts from the system. Editing the database is not a desirable method, but I will take any instructions you give at this point.
I will open a ticket with your support system as well.
