Remove interfaces that no longer excist

Hi all

I have some switches where some vlans has been deleted.
This have ofcourse resulte in ORION saying:

Unknown

Vlan104 · ServerLAN BKT30

But how do i disable this in ORION ???
If i use "list resources" its not on the list as it no longer excist in the switch..

Of course i could create the vlans in the switch.. disable them i Orion and then delete the vlan again.. But this will be my absolute last resort..

go under admin and then manage nodes.

from there you will be able to select the interface that no longer exists and delete it.

Depending on the version you may have to go to the System Manager on the server and delete.

I got it deleted..

I dont know why i was so blinded by using the "list resources" function...

NPM does not have the abililty to dynamically remove monitored elements. While this is a nuiesence there are some understandable complexities.

(Hint to Solarwinds multiple select is really needed in the NPM)

The only option is to delete the offending element that is no longer valid.

This has to be done from the NPM System Manager since custom editing of device resources in the web portal does not show components that no longer exist in the configuration. Below is what the resource editor from the portal looks like.
