Run linux script as a trigger action?

Is it possible to run a linux script as a trigger action in an alert? I know it is possible to use putty to run a script but I am having some issues with passing arguments as well as finding a secure way to store/pass credentials.

I was wondering if there was another way to run a linux script as a trigger action, or if it is possible to create you're own trigger action?

I was able to achieve this by using a powershell script that uses plink.exe to ssh into a linux machine and run a linux script. (plink -m should do the trick).

As long as the local system has permissiosn to run powershell (i had to give an admin account to the Solarwnds Orion Service to get this working) then it will work.
