APM v2 uninstall messing with NPM

I had APM v2 trial installed, trial ended, un-installed, removed rouge "APM" folders, but still have errors on NPM pages -

The "Applications" resource is missing.
The file ~/Orion/APM/Resources/Node/AllNodeApplications.ascx is not found.

The "Top XX Components by Response Time" resource is missing.
The file ~/Orion/APM/Resources/Node/NodeTopXXByResponseTime.ascx is not found.

The "Top XX Processes by CPU Load" resource is missing.
The file ~/Orion/APM/Resources/Node/NodeTopXXByCpuLoad.ascx is not found.

The "Top XX Processes by Physical Memory" resource is missing.
The file ~/Orion/APM/Resources/Node/NodeTopXXByPhysicalMemory.ascx is not found.

The "Top XX Processes by Virtual Memory" resource is missing.
The file ~/Orion/APM/Resources/Node/NodeTopXXByVirtualMemory.ascx is not found.

You have APM resources on your Node Details page. Go into Admin to Customize that view and remove those resources.

Indeed, that was the problem. I would think that un-installing the app would have removed those references as well.

We have the same problem. Installed the APM and Netflow trial version on our NPM-installation and the uninstall didn't remove everything.

The views I hade to manulay fix by removing all APM-components and now they show up correct. The uninstall should take care of that.

But I still have one problem. That is the links in the top bar to the modules ( Modules: Application Performance Monitor NetFlow Traffic Analysis) How do I remove them?

Hi Seashore

You will need to delete the folders for APM and Netflow at the InetPub folder since the uninstall will not modify the website.

Here is a list of the folder which will need to be deleted:

1. InetPub\SolarWinds\TrafficAnalysis

2. InetPub\SolarWinds\Orion\TrafficAnalysis

3. InetPub\SolarWinds\Orion\APM

This should clear the tabs on your website.
