Alert for a pop up on windows server

We are in the process of evaluating Orion NPM and Orion Application Performance monitor. Is is possible to set an alert for a pop up on windows machine ? Like for the following event.

Log: SYSTEM (#799848)

Event ID: 26

Event Time: Wed Mar 18 11:02:20 AM

Event Category: None

Severity: Informational

Event User: N/A

Event Source: Application Popup

Event Detail: Application popup: Windows - System Error :

A Machine Check Error has occurred. Please check the system eventlog for additional information.

If so , can somebody please guide me in the right direction.

Hi abhi1024,

You could do this using event forwarding from windows and a syslog message alert in Orion.

Alerts for syslog messages can be created via the Syslog Viewer in the Orion program group on your server.

Getting the event into the syslog from your windows host can be done via the Solarwinds Log Forwarder for Windows. The log forwarder is available to existing customers through the customer portal, talk to your salesperson if you need to test this as part of your evaluation.
