Monitoring Rackspace Servers

One of our locations has three servers in Rackspace that I am thinking I may want to monitor. If I load the SolarWinds agent on them does it transmit data securely between the server and Solarwinds?  I just do not want to send any information in 'open text' for anyone to grab on the internet.   If someone can shoot me a link on stats of the Solarwinds server agent that would be great as well.  I know I remember reading about the client agents somewhere.  Thanks!

You know what 'Agents' are probably my favourite thing in SolarWinds I look at them as small little ninja's gathering and passing data, telling me how my servers are doing, even telling me network response times NRT and protocol latency issues ART for key applications.. and with the right alerting you can actually create alerts based on where an alert should go network team or application teams pretty coool.. anyway they are very powerful (good job SolarWinds) ..
