Sam Licensing Changes - 7-23-19 ???

Anyone know of any changes to licensing?

In addition to the articles cmazko linked to I would add that the new node based license is not being forced on existing users if they don't want / need it. If you are an existing SAM user you can opt to stick with your current license model.

yes came to know this recently and kind of shocked after seeing the prices... i would still love to have element based option for cases where small number of devices are in consideration...

the upgrade cost from element to node based if opted too, is very expensive....

Existing customers on component based licensing will not be forced to migrate off.

Agree but for new customers with smaller number, this new licensing doesn't

help...
