Anyone monitoring EXCHANGE server beyond common templates?

I'm curious how others are monitoring their Microsoft Exchange server(s) - that is, beyond the common templates which come with APM. Anyone using WMI monitoring for the Information Store database .etc? I'm about to attempt to find and monitor: MSExchange Database - Instances(Information Store/_Total) - Log Generation Checkpoint Depth Would anyone know how to monitor the 'mount' status of a database? Thanks!

I got the Log Generation Checkpoint Depth being monitored now with APM (WMI).

 

= BUT =

I NEED to know how to monitor the Information Store (Exchange's database) for when it is 'mounted' or 'dismounted' - anyone have any ideas?
