In the past when I've pushed out software releases to our sites, I've had to include the files for all the versions of the software loaded by the sites. With the new licensing in place, are there any modules or applications that still require specific downloads for that exact license type?
For instance, in the past, if I had 3 sites deploying NCM and Site 1 was using a DLX license, site 2 was using a DL1000 and site 3 was using a DL500, they would have to install the appropriate file based on their site licensing.
My understanding is that now the downloads are universal meaning that if I download bits from my portal and I have a DL 1000 license that one of my other sites could install the same file and register it as a DLX or DL500 based on the licensing in their portal.
Is that correct or are there still software downloads that must match the license type?
