which alert manager for V8 ?

Anyone know what the alert manager looks like in V8? The new alert manager queries are great for standardized locations like all my remote sites BUT my central office has a lot of equipment and I want to alert on particular interfaces and do NOT want to write hundreds of conditions to give me the alerts I need. In this case, the older alert manager and the checkbox for each interface is the right answer.
