Alerts for divices show even though device is removed

We have two devices that show up in advanced alerts even though the devices have been removed from Orion. So far I deleted the alerts from Active Alerts, closed Orion, stopped all Orion services, opened Database Manager, deleted the alerts from AlertStatus in the database, restarted computer and the alerts keep coming back.

I'm on version 8.5.1 of Orion.

Was the device setup by IP or name? Run the diagnostics. Diagnostics Utility can be found in C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\SolarwindsDiagnostics.exe [assuming a default install path].-In the results look through the alert table definitions - the orphaned alert may be triggering on a name that is duplicate or an ip that was given to another device perhaps?

It was added by IP. I looked in the DB section of the diagnostics and could not find anythign that referenced the IP or name of the device.

Have you rebooted or run DB maintenance since you manually deleted the alert from the DB? If so then I would open a support ticket and have a technician locate the offending alert. forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl
