With SNMP configured on MobileIron, they can be discovered as a Linux node. I'd like to see a custom poller or something created specifically for MobileIron MIBs.

I asked them for specific OID's and was told they don't have anything that can be pulled specific to MobileIron, just usual Linux stats over SNMP. I was also informed that we can't/shouldn't install the Linux agent. So just the basics getting pulled in. Would love to hear additional OID's if you have them.

That's odd that they haven't cast any OIDs in the virtual appliances, but then again, I guess the Core and Sentry really are just Linux machines.The odd thing is my previous monitoring platform (EM7) discovered them as Cisco VOIP devices. osborne_graham, have you created any application monitoring templates for MobileIron services, or just use OOB component monitors for Apache, etc?

No, not done anything specific yet. Was intending to look more at it at some point but as nobody is chasing me for more it's at the back of the queue :-)

You can create custom oids to run any scripted stuff you want on linux based systems. Are there useful commands you know of that you would be able to execute from their cli?
