Does Orion have any API's? I have been asked to create some links to the Orion web site to display data specific for a selected server. To do this I need to resolve the server name to the solarwinds ID.
A second challenge is going to be logging the user in. Can the login credentials be passed on hte URL (not very secure in know) or can access be linked to a Active Directory group?

I believe you can ramp up security via IIS.

You can pass credentials in the URL like so:
AccountID=user&Password=pw

Passing credentials in the URL isn't secure though.
