NPM Event log filling up since assigning AppInsight on two servers

Hi,

We've just added 2 of our SQL servers onto the new SAM 6 AppInsight and whilst the data we're getting back is great we're seeing the NPM event log fill up with Components going into a warning, critical state and then recovering.

Is there anyway to store these messages from flooding our Event Log? The servers are all performing with no issues so I'm not sure what's causing these messages but they are annoying.

Which component/s are referenced in the event? It may be that the thresholds defined are simply too close to the average value of the statistic. You can try increasing the thresholds, or removing them entirely for the components referenced in the events.
