Customizing the Homepage

I would like to group the items and show their respective CPU and Memory loads on the homepage. Is this possible?

Yes, you could use Report Writer for this, or you can create a custom home page with only the node CPU & Memory displayed (depending on how many nodes you have, this could become a very large and cunmbersome page to navigate).

The Report Writer would give a much cleaner - non graphical output, and you can easliy customize it to display nodes based on a custom property.

You can also use custom properties to calssify and group devices. I have done it by region and it works great. Then you just customize a web view and group by that custom property.
