APM Business Layer Keep Alive - Future Time - Normal?

Hi Folks-

I was looking for some SAM configuration info and peeked into the APM_BusinessLayer table in our database and noted that Business time is in the future, about 6 hours. We noted this on both of our SAM servers. Is this normal?

Ahh, I forgot to calculate for DST. This is normal behavior for SAM. The server clock can be set to the correct timezone, but all data in the SAM database is stored in UTC.

I believe what you are seeing is the information stored in the database is in UTC time. Based on your findings it sounds like you're in the central time zone. Is that correct?

Hey Alter-

We are in the Eastern Time Zone. But, the question is, will this cause any issues as the other engines are all on EST.

Thanks Alter! One less thing to worry about. You might want to think about adding a note somewhere in the Admin docs, if it isn't already there, for those who like to poke around their databases.
