Hello I need templet that can monitor SQL 2008 job status and if failed should be trigger action as mail
AppInsight for SQL includes SQL Job monitoring as well as Service and Database monitoring. You will need to add the Windows Server as a WMI Node utilizing the local or AD accounts, or install the Agent. When adding the device AppInsight for SQL will be an option and should be automatically checked. After adding the device, you will need to edit the template to let it know if you want it to have windows authentication for an AD account or SQL authentication and there will be a configure now button. There will be several alerts to include When an application is in warning or critical. I believe the last time mine triggered for a failed job moved the application into Warning.
Thanks for quick reply. AppInsight is great, however it consume 50 licenses for one node and this is creating licenses issue for me. I do not need all components from it. i just need for SQL JOB monitoring. that will save my licences.

Thanks i tested and work great. But this need to configured for each database and job. its good if we have limited database and jobs.
Not able to configure for hundreds of jobs and databases.Too much manule work
