I had the ip address of my exchange cluster show up in network discovery. Is there any reason or way to add it and collect data besides just icmp? I don't know of a way to enable snmp on a cluster ip?
If SNMP is enabled on the device then it will collect information from the cluster IP thinking it is just the normal server. In NPM 10.2 we added support for WMI polling so you don't need to enabled SNMP on your windows server as long as you have valid credentials. Here are a few other posts about monitoring clusters.
