Does anyone know of a good SQL reference for non-SQL network types?

Does anyone out there have any recommendations for SQL reference books, websites, etc. to assist those of us network engineers who don't speak SQL on a daily basis?  I know enough to be dangerous and I can hack my way through queries written by others, but I haven't messed with inner joins, outter joins, self joins, etc since grad school (more years ago than I care to disclose!)  So far, I've been lucky enough to be able to produce the custom reports I've been asked for by management, but I figure my luck will run out sooner or later.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

W3 Schools has a neat reference for beginners and experts, plus alot of great examples.

www.sql-server-performance.com/ is a site that I like a lot. They have a bunch of articles that I have found to be very helpful.
