TACACS+ User Experience Monitor is in an unknown state

Hi

I've used the TACACS+ User Experience Monitor to monitor a Cisco ACS server. Works fine so far.

But: if the administrator stops the ACS Service I get the following message:

TACACS+ User Experience Monitor on xxx is in an unknown state

Is this really the expected behaviour? I would have expected a down instead of an unknown.

Under certain circumstances I get a down: if the LDAP-Server (to which the ACS connects) is not available.

We'll need to investigate this further but the expected behavior is if the TACACS+ server is unable to respond and not even listening on port 49 than the component monitor should be in a down state.
