Export a list of nodes based on Polling Engine assignment into Excel

I have a need to export all of the nodes assigned to each of our Additional Polling engines (we have 6) to excel.

In Manage Nodes, I can sort on Polling Engines, and then export to PDF, but there is not an XL option.

Is there another way to perform this task?

Hello,

You can generate this on Report Writer from your Orion server.

Open the report writer, on the left panel find the 'Device Types' report under 'Inventory'.

Edit this report by selecting the 'Select Fields' tab.

Add a new field, click the asterisk (*) and input the field 'Server Name', this is under Polling Engines>Server Details>Server Name

Also, change the third field 'Machine Type' to 'Node Name', this is under Network Nodes>Node Details> Node Name

Lastly, remove the function 'COUNT' to 'None' from this field.

Execute SQL query

You can now export this file to excel spreadsheet. Go to File>Export>Export to Excel Spreadsheet
