SQL Server User Experience Monitor connect error

When I established a monitor according to the SQL Sever User Experience Monitor template, it can´t connect with the database sever. The error show below:

Sql Server returned an error. Error while establishing the connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, the error can occur because the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.

But I checked the remote connetction of the SQL server, it is allowed. Anyone know the reason?

And I am curios about where to set the connect string if you want to excute the SQL query?

I'm having the same issue.

Created a SQL User Experience monitor to run a SQL query and alarm if the results are above a certain threshold. Cannot get it to work. Credentials work fine and there are no issues with the SQL box.

Check your services and look for SQL SERVER. The instance name will be what is in the paranthesis. For example SQL SERVER (MSSQLSERVER) or SQL SERVER(SQLEXPRESS).

Use MSSQLSERVER as your instance name to setup your SQL Server User Experience Monitor.
