ESX monitoring question from an ESX admin;
Latency to the storage causes an IO queue to be created.
Has anyone setup an app monitor to detect if an IO queue has been created on an ESX server?
This information is available as part of Virtualization Manager.
Thanks, I presumed it had that, but we don't have that license.
Was hoping someone had an application template or component that could do this without Virtualization Manager.
Download an eval version of Virtualization Manager and show it off to the bean counters. If you use VMware kit in production, it'll pay for itself in short order.
As it's a virtual appliance, it doesn't even need a physical server or VM to run. Easy to trial, easy to nuke if you don't want it at the end of the trial
