You would not use synchronous loading option unless the web site/application/page you were attempting to add to Orion did not support or function properly when loaded asynchronously.

From the document index, apparently this is described on page 1712 of the SAM Administrators Guide.

Unfortunately, the PDF version I just downloaded from the website ended at page 1687, missing out a lot of content, including the section you require, which describes 'Custom HTML Resource' resources.

Any SolarWinds staffer about who could please publish the full document?

This was my exact approach anyway I just wanted to clarify what a difference this would make if I were to start using it... So, in my case - no difference, as I have everything working and loading properly

Darn. And I was hoping that "use synchronous loading" would load all the charts on one page (a page with many graphed interfaces) faster. Well, it's good to learn what it really is there for.
