Configure Alert to fire when service/application recovers

Hello,

How can I configure an alert to trigger when a service or application recovers automatically or by manual intervention? I tried creating a couple of alerts and they either did nothing or alert for every application that was up.

In the Advanced Alert manager you can go to the alert that is used to notify you when the application goes down and add a Trigger Rearm action to let you know that it's working again.

I am trying to do the same thing. Could you be more specific about how to configure this in the advanced alert manager? I don't see an option for Trigger Rearm. Thanks!

What you're looking for is the trigger "Reset Actions". Here you can define any action you'd like executed when the Trigger Condition is no longer true.
