APM Service Not Available after APM 2.0 Install

APM Service Not Available

The Web Console is unable to communicate with the APM Service Engine.

Additional Information

There was no response from the APM Service Engine located at GOLNOC1:17605

Opened ticket #55743 - This message is displayed on the APM Module and all Node resourse pages.

If support hasn't already asked, run SolarWindsDiagnostics (from the SolarWinds Start menu folder) and send the zip file to support

Generating the Diagnostics

I get this in the Solarwinds.net Eventlog:

A license check failed. License does not match install type.

Could thuis be a licensing issue? I Downloaded APM 2.0 from the customer portal.

You used remote desktop to install it, right? Got to run the install from add/remove programs!!!

Yes, it is a licensing issue, but I need the diagnostics to tell you exactly what the problem is.

I uploaded the Diagnostics files (all 103 MB of them). But I the meantime I uninstalled and reinstalled APM 2.0 from the console using Add/Remove Programs and Shazaam, it's working.

Very puzzled.
