Wildcard in an application monitor for file existence, server name

Hello everyone,

  I am trying to set up an application monitor for file existence where I can use a wildcard as the server name, where the path will be \\<wildcard>\some_directory and the server name will be based on which node the template is applied to. Is this possible with some kind of variable?

I tried \\:$\path and it did not work. Any suggestions? Also if there is a list of variables supported by Solarwinds, that would be huge!
