Hello Thwack...!
We manage a number of Juniper Devices on our network primarily ISG-2000, SSG550, SSG140. SolarWinds Orion NPM overall is great, but it seems to have issues with the support of these products.
For example, on the SSG140 device or the SSG550 device we will typically create subinterfaces on a physical interface, but the sub-interfaces do not show up as a "resource" under "list resources" - only the physical interface shows...and it shows up in a Warning (yellow) state.
Furthermore, the statistics on a physical interface with sub-interfaces shows as "no data for the selected time period". CPU/Memory utilization does not show up in the resource list either.
The situation is similar with the ISG-2000 insofar as you cannot select sub-intfaces/cpu/memory as a resource, but the physical interface shows as an "up" status and statistical data is collected.
In our datacenter environment with mulitple customers and devices it would be really great to be able to monitor traffic on subinterfaces, CPU, memory, etc on Netscreen products.
Is there anyone out there using Solarwinds with Netscreen SSGs or ISGs that has a workaround?
Thanks, neo
